You begin by sharing your circumstances and goals with me and educating me about the property you want to sell.  I will familiarize you with the current market and we will look at recent sales of comparable homes in your area - - this will give you a good idea of an appropriate asking price.  I will suggest a marketing plan that suits your specific  property and I will communicate with you throughout the entire listing period as to our activities and progress.  I will re-check the market at regular intervals to make sure your listing is positioned appropriately if not aggressively.  Your property for sale will have visibility through:

  • The Maine Statewide Multiple Listing Service (MLS) which is syndicated thru LIST-HUB to 43 Real Estate Websites
  • Internet Exposure including:  Allen & Selig Realty's website, My Personal website, Mainetoday.com, Craigslist, The Real Estate Book, and others
  • Social Media Outlets including Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Print advertising in The Times Record, The Sun Journal, The Real Estate Book, and others as appropriate
  • Public & Broker Open houses
  • E-mail and personal marketing to area Buyers' Agents
  • Direct mail to your neighborhood
  • And, I will personally conduct all showings of your property to prospective buyers if you desire

During this entire time, remember that I am your advisor and can assist you but you are the decision-maker and it is important that information flows both ways.
